Project Background:
Under the trend of Korrun's expanding business, pursuit of excellence and globalization, cultivating talents with global vision and professional skills is crucial to the company's development. Korrun Seedling Program (Management Trainee Development Program) aims to cultivate comprehensive management talents with solid professional ability, leadership, innovation and teamwork spirit through systematic training and practice, and to help the trainees grow into the core talents of the company through two-year rotational learning and three-year fixed-post development.
On August 22nd, 2024 Korrun Seedling Program officially opened. Management trainees camp is composed of Chinese and Indian employees from Korrun 2B sector.
At the opening ceremony, Mr. Fan, the head of Korrun global 2B soft bag production and operation, said, “First of all, I would like to welcome all of you to join Korrun family. Korrun is in a stage of rapid development, the company's development rely on the contribution of professionals. Therefore, I hope that you can work hard, pursue excellence,and use innovative thinking to solve problems. I look forward to your rapid growth in the next three to five years!”
William, general manager of Korrun 2B Chuzhou manufacturing base, talked to the trainees: “Stepping into the society from the campus, every step of your growth will affect the direction of your future development. Lay a good foundation in your daily work, when you go to management, it will become valuable assets for your career, and you will find that the current efforts are worthwhile. Work hard, the future of Korrun is yours!”
Allen, General Manager of Korrun 2B Indonesia Manufacturing Base, also sent a message to the trainees: “First of all, we warmly welcome all of you to join Korrun family! Your arrival brought vitality. The company will provide a broad platform to support your growth. Last but not least, I wish all can work happily and grow happily in Korrun, and I also wish all the instructors good health, work well!”
Mentorship Ceremony
Mentorship system is set for the training of MT. Each mentor customizes the rotation program for the students. In the opening ceremony, both sides formally establish the relationship between mentor and trainee.
Mentor promise: to working side by side with trainee! Set an example and help them improve their working ability.
Trainee promise: to take the mentor as an example, to be open-minded, seek advice, and to study hard! Respect the mentor, listen attentively!
Finally, mentors and trainees signed the “agreement”, promising to support each other and grow together in the future.
Training on Transformation from Campus to Workplace
From campus to workplace is not only a change of role, but also a change of mindset. Therefore, the HR team designed a training activity to help the trainees to adapt to the workplace. During the training, the trainees were able to change their way of thinking through interactive sessions such as topic discussions, group tasks, and feedback exercises, so that they could better design their career development plans by discovering their strengths combined with the company's needs.
